-I read that, 'the diary of a young girl' by Anne Frank stands without peers. So is it a sui generis?

-Sociolinguistics and prestige language. (will read more about it)

-According to your notes of your Zombie movie : If you are ahead of your time, are you a sui generis for that moment?

-Big fan of minimalist posters.

-And I am giggling at the tortoise not getting his shoes.

-In India, people use either Sanskrit phrases or a little English in their conversations to sound intellectual. Sometimes its on the mark, sometimes its over the head.

- The Diary of Anne Frank is not sui generis. It's a memoir by genre; that it stands without peers means only that it is very good.

- Yes, I think if you are ahead of your time, especially if your work leads to the formation of a new genre or a new school of technique, then your work is sui generis for that moment.

- Me, too. Minimalist posters are definitely having a moment.

- Glad you liked the comic, I always worry that no one likes them or that no one gets the joke.

- It's interesting to me that Sanskrit is used as a prestige language; I had always been taught that it was a dead language. But I looked it up and apparently, there is quite a revival happening?

Thanks as always for reading and for leaving such interesting comments!
