Interesting post Joel. I found it after googling the quote as I heard it in the background of Death Wish 2 (from 1982) and recognised it from the start of NBNs Everything's gonna be alright.
So it was used in both the original Death Wish and Death Wish 2? Something I should have checked when I wrote this article is the studios and labels that put out the records I talked about. It's entirely possible that the same corporation owns everything.
I doubt it's in the first Death Wish as there's no scenes in a hospital. Maybe the source you mentioned meant it was in the original series rather than the 2018 remake with Bruce Willis.
You could absolutely be right about that. I haven't seen the movie in years; it's interesting to me though that, per the comment below yours, the clip is still being used. Even if we set 1982 and Death Wish 2 as the original instance, that's still 40 years of use!
