I'm probably misremembering this, but I thought the value of Nihilism was just that - you don't have to live in service to a god or a job, you can just live without needing a reason? But you're right - absurdism is definitely ftw.
I mean absurdism is ✨️ nihilism +✨️but nihilism is missing a "why". Absurdism's why is the great cosmic joke.
